Opis
Melbourne pop punks Kisschasy will play their first Adelaide gig in almost a year at the free Australia Day in the City concert in Elder Park. Joining the Generation Why upstarts on the day will be pop princess Jessica Mauboy, playing songs from new album Get Em Girls, the follow-up to "debutt" Been Waiting.
Kisschasy have been virtually silent for most of 2010, following a year where they released their third album Seizures, were voted as Channel V's Oz Artist of the year and played some of their biggest shows to date. Expect that silence to be broken though as Kisschasy plan a return to the live arena next January 26, with plans for a fourth album also in the pipeline.
Meanwhile Jessica Mauboy has had a stellar 2010. Her second album Get Em Girls has seen her make inroads into the lucrative American market, thanks in no small part to collaborations with hip hop stars Snoop Dogg and Ludacris. Even despite her hilarious ARIA gaffes, Get Em Girls marks 2010 as a watershed year for Jessica Mauboy.
Kisschasy and Jessica Mauboy play the free Australia Day in the City concert in Elder Park on Wed Jan 26.
