Opis
The Oxygen Index are headlining an amazing bill at Moho Live on 15th July. Goliath and Swansea Love Story are backing us up, both immensely talented bands. Acts on earlier in the night too include The Backdoor and The Ashtons.
THE OXYGEN INDEX
The Oxygen Index are an art pop band from just south of Manchester. Formed by Stuart Thornton and with the help of Richard Ford the band, after a variety of lineup changes, have gone from strength to strength since their uniting in February 2009.
The Oxygen Index have generated a lot of buzz in Manchester and further afield recently, supporting fellow Manchester art pop maestros THE ANSWERING MACHINE at their packed out album launch in the Northern Quarter, featuring several times on multiple radio stations, including interviews and a week long special on PUREFM alongside indie five piece DUTCH UNCLES, and generating interest from numerous record labels.
After finally releasing their debut EP 'Evenings Become Electric' in December 2009, the band are now concentrating their efforts towards putting on larger spectacles, spreading the word and a new release for Summer 2010.

SWANSEA LOVE STORY
Swansea Love Story, named after the breath taking short film by Rue Britannia, formed in early Two-Thousand and Ten. The band was the seed of many other collaborations Adam Searle and Jack Yarwood had found themselves together in. Originally they played as a experimental duo using loop pedals and drum machines. Upon the release of the Extended Play - Labyrinth - coming in Summer 2010, they recruited established percussionist Conrad Ankers.
As a band who are developing every day they have progressed onto making semi-professional demos in studios, producing it themselves or with Nick Gozzem (gozzGull) of League Liege.
